White Pearl - Anoushka

There's more than a touch of the 1950s about this unworn sample dress which has all her original tags.

The pleated ruched neckline is reminscent of the silhouettes of fifties evening gowns. The choice of taffeta as the fabric cements this as a real influence for this dress. (Please note she's a new dress and not one of my true vintage ones.)

Beautiful pearl and diamante detailing peeks out from the ruched asymmetrical neckline.

With a high slit on the skirt at the side front, this is a floor length dress with no train.

As I lover of all things fifties glamour, this one is a winner for me.
