Tricker Bridal – Sales, Returns & Refunds Policy

At Tricker Bridal I want every bride (and mother of the bride!) to feel confident in her purchase. Please read this policy carefully before ordering.

Quick Summary for Customers

  • Salon Purchases: Dresses and outfits bought in the Aberdeen salon are non-returnable and non-refundable. Please be sure before you buy.
  • Online Orders: You can return within 14 days of delivery if you change your mind. Dresses must be in the same condition, with all tags intact, unworn, unaltered, and free from odours or marks.
  • Return Postage: Buyer pays for tracked and insured return postage. Refunds are issued within 14 days of safe return. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Condition of Gowns: Many gowns are sample, preloved or true vintage. Minor wear or age-related quirks are part of their character and not considered faults.
  • Bespoke Orders: Made-to-measure gowns are non-refundable once work has begun. A non-refundable deposit is required.
  • Payment & Shipping: Secure payments are taken online. Klarna instalments may be available. International customers are responsible for any duties or taxes.

1. About Us

2. In-Salon Purchases

  • All purchases made in the salon are final: no returns, refunds, or exchanges.
  • Customers are encouraged to try on carefully and satisfy themselves as to fit, condition and suitability before purchase.

3. Online Purchases

  • Customers may cancel or return an online order within 14 days of receipt, in line with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.
  • To qualify for a refund, items must be:
    • returned in the exact condition sent,
    • with all original tags and labels intact,
    • unworn, unaltered, and free of odours, marks or damage.
  • Notification of intent to return must be made by email within 2 days of delivery. The item must then be returned within a further 12 days.
  • Return postage costs are the responsibility of the buyer. A tracked and insured service must be used; Tricker Bridal cannot be held liable for lost or damaged parcels.
  • Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving and inspecting the returned item. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

4. Condition of Garments

  • Many dresses are sample, preloved, or vintage. Their condition is clearly described on product pages.
  • Customers acknowledge that minor wear or age-related quirks do not constitute a defect or grounds for return.

5. Bespoke Orders

  • Bespoke gowns made to customer specifications are non-returnable and non-refundable once work has begun.
  • A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm a bespoke order.

6. Payments

  • Payments are taken securely via Shopify checkout.
  • Klarna instalment options may be available and are subject to Klarna’s terms.

7. Shipping

  • All orders are sent by tracked delivery.
  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
  • International customers are responsible for any customs duties, tariffs, or taxes charged in their country.

8. Liability

  • Tricker Bridal is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from purchases.
  • Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, misrepresentation, or death/personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Privacy

  • All customer data is handled in compliance with GDPR. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details.

10. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
