Gilded Revival - Ian Stuart

From the mid period of Ian Stuart's stellar career, this is a fantastic example of his mastery of corsetry. It's an ivory dress which is covered in gold lace  - only the sleeves are lace with no underlayer to show case the delicacy of this chantilly lace which is highlighted with tiny crystal beads and seed pearls. 

It has the look of a corset top and a every so slighly a-line dress with a train, but it is in fact a dress complete with on trend basque waist.

The back is finished with Ian Stuart's signature covered buttons, and trailing ties ending in chiffon petals. 

It's preloved and in immaculate showroon condition. A true heirloom piece which makes me fall in love with Ian Stuart's work all over again.
