Blossom Riot - Un Upcycled Tricker Bridal One Off

Some dresses arrive with star quality.

Others need a little encouragement.

This one started life as a perfectly nice, beautifully made, pre loved gown in excellent condition. The trouble was, she was so well-behaved she was in danger of being overlooked.

So I decided to interfere.

I've covered the bodice and sleeves with soft pink floral appliqués and delicate green leaves, turning a rather anonymous dress into something that looks as though it has wandered straight out of an English country garden. To finish the look, I've added a flowing pink chiffon drape which can be worn for maximum romantic drama or removed completely when you fancy a different look.

The result is feminine, fresh and a little bit unexpected. She's ideal for the bride who loves colour but doesn't want to stray too far from tradition, and perfect for garden weddings, country house celebrations and anyone who thinks wedding dresses should have a bit more personality.
