Catherine Deane doing lace rather differently. Her graphic Eco lace is filled with bold leaf and ladder motifs, with beautiful scalloped edges. There's a definite 70s Biba mood about her, particularly with that high neckline and long fitted sleeves.

And then you turn around.

The back is almost completely open, framed by the lace and fastened high at the neck. The fitted silhouette follows the body before the lace falls into a lovely scalloped train, so all that intricate pattern carries right to the very end.

This is an unworn sample gown in excellent condition, complete with built-in cups and boning. She's a UK size 12 and, originally priced at £1500, at £599, a rather lovely way to wear Catherine Deane without the original designer price tag.
