Starlight Soiree - St Patrick

This is one of those dresses where you keep finding another lovely detail.

The fitted bodice is covered in delicate corded lace, gently scattered with tiny sequins, with a sweetheart shape beneath a sheer illusion neckline. Lace trails over the shoulders and down those beautiful long sleeves, while tiny embroidered dots float across the fine tulle between the appliqués. Turn her around and the illusion back is finished with a wonderfully neat row of covered buttons.

Then there’s the skirt. Layers of softly sunray pleated spotted tulle fall from the waist into a wonderfully light, fluid A-line, spreading into a long train that looks quite magnificent from behind. It has movement and drama without needing acres of heavy fabric to achieve it.

She’s an unworn sample gown with her original tags and is utterly immaculate. Even better, she comes with a little organza bag containing spare matching lace - invaluable should your seamstress need extra appliqués when carrying out alterations.
