Snowdrop

Snowdrop is one of those dresses that manages to give you sleeves, lace and a wonderfully romantic skirt without feeling remotely heavy.

In brilliant white, the bodice has a deep V neckline with detailed floral lace. The lace is quite fabulous when you see it close up – flowers, leaves and trailing stems worked in white-on-white embroidery, densely arranged over the bodice before tumbling down onto the skirt.

And then those sleeves.

Full length and made from tulle, they give lovely soft coverage without hiding the arms beneath heavy lace. They're gently gathered to create an almost billowing effect – romantic rather than fitted and a little bit different from the lace sleeves we see on so many wedding dresses.

Below the bodice, layers of soft white tulle fall into an easy princess skirt. Rather than covering the whole skirt in lace, the floral appliqués become more scattered as they travel downwards, before gathering again around the hem. It gives Snowdrop detail where you want it while keeping the overall look light and floaty.

And brilliant white really does mean brilliant white. If ivory, champagne and blush aren't remotely on your wedding dress wish list, this could be the one.
