Silken Rose – True Vintage

You’ll have met your match in Silken Rose – a deliciously regal true vintage two-piece wedding set from the Princess Collection by Ronald Joyce. Crafted in raw silk with that unmistakable slubby sheen, she’s structured perfection with a dash of theatre.

The corset-style bodice is boned for shape, cinched at the waist and fastened with rows of covered buttons and loops. At the neckline, a silk bow crowned with a sculpted rose takes centre stage – a bridal rosette that proudly declares “Best in Show.”

The gently capped sleeves and full skirt with sweeping train bring that late ’80s/early ’90s fairytale feel, echoing the classic elegance of early Caroline Castigliano. Want to switch things up? Pair the bodice with a frothy tulle micro mini for the reception – Saoirse-Monica Jackson vibes all the way.

Silken Rose is clean and in excellent vintage condition, with just some small marks around the hem and lower skirt – barely noticeable, but I cam confident these will be removed with dry cleaning. She’s pure princess posture with a playful twist, ready for her next chapter.

The bodice waist measurement is 28" while the skirt waist is 26" - but there is room to let out the skirt.
