Selena - Sydney's Closet

Meet Selena, the first arrival in my new bridal collection at Tricker Bridal. (I'm very excited about the new arrivals!)

Selena is a proper full-skirted wedding gown, with a beautifully fitted corset bodice with exposed boning channels and a wonderfully flattering pointed basque waistline. The square neckline is framed by broad straps, so perfect if you want to wear a bra underneath.

The fabric is beautiful. A large floral pattern is woven into the gown, giving the ivory brocade fabric texture and depth without the need for lace or beading. It's a lovely example of how great fabric and good cutting can do all the work.

The full skirt falls in generous folds from the waist, with deep box pleats creating volume and a sweeping train completing the silhouette. And, very importantly, it has pockets. I know how much brides love discovering those!

Selena is available off the peg now in a UK size 14 in the Aberdeen salon. This is currently the only one I have in stock, but the good news is that I can also order Selena in sizes up to 32 - a great dress for properly curvy brides.
