Portia - Love by Enzoani

This preloved gown by Love Enzoani is a rather clever combination of sleek, modern bridal design and some seriously beautiful detailing.

The bodice is the star of the show, with a plunging V neckline and intricate beading worked in swirling patterns over illusion fabric. The beading continues around the sides and into a wonderfully low V back, creating a beautifully shaped bodice that looks quite different from every angle.

The skirt is a complete contrast. Smooth, unembellished Mikado fabric falls from a neat waistband into a generous A-line silhouette, with a fabulous sweeping train and a long row of covered buttons running right down to the hem. It's beautifully proportioned and has a lovely sense of movement.

And yes, it has pockets! Always a welcome discovery in a wedding dress, particularly one with such an elegant shape.
