Nuptial Natalie - Sassi Holford

I do love finding a So Sassi dress. Created by British bridal designer Sassi Holford, the label had a slightly younger, more fashion-led feel than the main Sassi Holford line – and Nuptial Natalie is a particularly lovely example.

The whole dress is covered in ivory floral lace over a soft champagne-toned satin underlay, which shows off the pattern of the lace beautifully. It’s cut close through the body before gently flaring into the skirt and train – a very elegant shape without masses of volume.

But it’s the neckline that makes Natalie interesting. The lace sweeps over the shoulders to create little cap sleeves, with two unexpected cut-out panels sitting just below. At the back, the neckline dips into a V with another cut-out above it, finished with a row of covered buttons.

This is an unworn bridal sample in a size 10, so you’re getting a British designer wedding dress that has never actually had its wedding day.

And I think it deserves one.
