Eve's mum Shirley chose an elegant silk velvet fabric in a sumptuous teal shade.  

Devoré velvet fabric is a delicate and beautiful lace-like fabric where the pile is 'burnt out' - or literally devoured! - so they have a sheer net and a design on the raised pile.

Shirley opted for a matching silk velvet stole lined with a champagne matt satin to match her accessories - just in case the March wedding day was chilly. But despite heavy snow falls in the week before the big day, the weather held out for a bright sunny day for the couple and their families and friends.
