A Granite Glow and a Gown to Match
Beverley Tricker
Description
When Fiona married Bruce at Marischal College in Aberdeen, the city sparkled every bit as brightly as her dress. On one of the bluest, sunniest days of the summer, the granite shimmered — but it was Fiona who truly stole the show.
Her gown was a bespoke Tricker Bridal creation in vivid purple mikado silk, lined in deep red for dramatic flashes of colour as she moved. Inspired by an original 1950s pattern the design combined classic couture structure with Beverley’s playful modern touch. The overskirt revealed hints of the red reverse side — a little secret shimmer, just enough to make the guests glimpse it.
A gown as radiant as its wearer, made for a bride who loves individuality, craftsmanship, and a little bit of cinematic drama.
