Chiffon Elegance- Diane Legrand

For some reason this dress immediately reminded me of the dress worn by Audrey Hepburn in the My Fair Lady ball scene. Yards of white chiffon, detailed silver beading and gallons of sophisticated charm.

Diane Legrand is a brand mainly seen in Europe and very popular in Germany, but not seen quite as often in the UK which is surprising as the gowns are so elegant and classic.

It has a heavily beaded bodice with delicate silver lace and diamantes in an empire shape at the front, dipping down at the back into the natural waist. The bodice neckline is deeply scooped at the front and V-shaped at the back.

An A-line chiffon skirt leads into a dramatic train and covered buttons finish the classic look. 

It's a sample dress with all her tags - and I think she's gorgeous.(The zip is in perfect working order - the mannequin is a little larger than the dress!)
