Royal Trumpet

Royal Trumpet

I reckon this white dress dates from 1973 ‘ish’ as you can see echoes of Princess Anne’s (first) wedding dress in the ballon sleeves with their split lace overlays and 3D sleeves below.

It’s Tudor inspired with a high collar and those stunning medieval influenced sleeves. The waist sits on the waist-line at the back and rises to a point at empire line at the front.

Crafted from a cotton crochet-inspired lace, it’s edged with a cotton trim around the hem, sleeves and neckline. The skirt extends into a beautiful sweeping train.

It’s lined and has an interfacing layer to gently hold the skirt’s shape. In excellent condition it’s the perfect demure and modest gown for your wedding day.

Would fit up to size 10.
