Radiant, effervescent and full of life. Laila had a picture in her head of her dream wedding dress from day one.
It was a pleasure to bring her dream to life with blush pink duchesse satin under layers of pale ivory tulle and a delicate illusion bodice covered in beaded and sequinned lace motifs.
Initially with a scoop back, during the construction process the dress slowly became backless, allowing Laila to showcase some of her intricate body art … which increased during the course of the fittings.
It was a first for me to fit a bride to be wrapped in cling film to prevent her latest tattoo ‘leaking’ onto the dress fabric!
Accompanied by her wonderful mum every step of the way, Laila also opted for a bespoke jacket in chartreuse with collar and cuffs in husband to be Joe’s tartan.
And … the veil!
I sourced a spectacular cathedral length ivory train with pink embellishments to finish this truly one off wedding ensemble for an exceptional woman with a brilliant personality.
Laila and Joe were married at Pittodrie House and her fabulous photos were taken by Lauren Polson Photography.
