The bodice is where all the action happens, with elaborate paisley patterns worked in pearls and beads around the neckline, continuing over the shoulders and around the back. Even the empire waistline has its own delicate beaded border.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI particularly like the way the skirt falls from that shaped waist. There are neat little pleats at the back giving it fullness and a modest puddle train without turning it into a huge ballgown, then the satin falls simply to the floor. It feels very grown-up 1990s bridal.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe colour deserves a mention. This is \u003c\/span\u003every warm ivory\u003cspan\u003e – almost creamy champagne in some lights – and it works beautifully with all that pearl embellishment.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eA proper piece of 90s bridal history from a British name, and one for the bride who likes her vintage glamorous rather than frou-frou.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt's in overal good condition but some of the pearls have lost their lustre (see close up photo). In my opnion, it's not noticeable unless you loook very closely.
