August 2020 – Open For Appointments Again
We’re now open for appointments again, for you to browse and try on our collection and discuss your own bespoke gown.
We ask that there are no more than three people at your appointment in total so that we can implement appropriate distancing in the salon.
Sorry but we are unable to accommodate any under 16s at this time, but we encourage you to use Facetime, Skype, WhatsApp to invite virtual guests (of any age!) to your appointment.
And, at the moment we’re not offering refreshments during your visit – but we’ll have plenty of hand sanitiser on tap instead of the usual Prosecco. Our chair layout allows for space of two metres between your consultant and between your party members.
Everyone should be wearing a mask when they are inside the salon. Your consultant will also wear a mask and will wear gloves while helping you into the dresses you select.
After being handled or tried on, all dresses are then steamed inside and outside and placed in our work room for 48 hours after being tried on by anyone else. So, if you have a particular gown in mind to try on, do let us know before your appointment so that we can ensure that it’s available for you to try on.
We usually offer a selection of shoes to try on with gowns, but can’t do this at the moment so we recommend that you take your own shoes with you of a similar height that you plan to wear on your big day so that you can see the overall effect.
The salon is cleaned after each appointment and we are allowing time between appointments for this. Particular attention is paid to touch points and this includes card payment machines – although we are encouraging contactless payment by BACS where possible for deposits.
Our front door is always locked so there will be no other clients on premises during your appointment. You can also opt, if you prefer, to ring us on your arrival and we’ll let you in rather than ringing our original 1830s doorbell! We’ll ask you to leave your coats and jackets on a coat stand in the entrance hall before going upstairs to the salon. We keep all our internal doors open for you too. No personal belongings for staff will be in the salon.
It goes without saying that should you have any COVID19 symptoms, please don’t visit the salon – we’ll always be happy to rearrange any appointment for you.
We look forward to welcoming you to Tricker Bridal and hope to create the dress of your dreams for you.
