Fittings

Your dress will be fitted to you during at least three future appointments with us.

For all of our wedding dress firstly, we make a toile – a prototype of your gown, or elements of your gown – in a plain fabric to ensure we achieve the perfect fit.

We recommend that you wear your wedding day lingerie at each fitting of your gown to ensure the best fit. It is also useful to take shoes of the height you plan to wear when you say ‘I do’ along to your fittings.

Every piece of your gown will be constructed by hand in our workroom in our wedding dress shop Aberdeen; you’ll be wearing a truly Scottish wedding dress on your big day. Your dress will take between 3 and 5 months to create. However, if you need a dress in a shorter timescale we're always happy to discuss this with you.
